In an article written in the June/July issue of Great Places to Live Magazine- based out of Alabama - Silverbrook Estates was given a 'neighborhood spotlight'. Howard Mann, the developer of Silverbrook, was interviewed and quoted as saying, "Everyone from baby boomers who are looking for a place to live and retire, to families looking to upgrade from current residential subdivisions in Montana- are looking closely at buying within Silverbrook". Silverbrook Estates is a community unlike any other in Northwest Montana, with proposed amenities that include several parks with basketball courts and tennis courts to a private clubhouse with pool to a system of natural walking trails within the 325 acres. Concluding the Great Places to Live article is the statement that "the residential community looks to be one truly combining nature with community".

In an article written by Canadian journalist, Sherry Hume, Silverbrook Estates is spotlighted as a magnificent place to build one's dream home.
Silverbrook is most attractive to Canadians in that the development lies an hour south of the Canadian border, is nestled within the Rocky Mountains, and lies only 15 miles away from the waters of the magnificent Flathead Lake.

Howard Mann, the developer of Silverbrook Estates, was interviewed on the unique aspects of the development and how the community will enhance the Flathead Valley’s changing landscape. The project lies along the Stillwater River, just South of the resort town of Whitefish, Montana.

In an article highlighting the top ten low-tax retirement towns in the country,
Silverbrook Estates was mentioned as one new development in the Flathead Valley, offering lifestyle choices to retirees looking either to relocate or purchase vacation homes.  Flathead Valley is desirable in that the property tax rate is below 1.2%.

A press release was issued by the real estate group of Silverbrook Estates. In this release, Larry Sartain of Silverbrook Realty announced that 107 residential lots are ready for construction to commence. A limited number of riverfront lots are still available.

On page 76 in Where to Retire magazine, there is a photo of a fly- fisherman, fishing along a calm Montana river. In the caption reads, "The Flathead River lures fly fishing enthusiasts to Kalispell, Montana - a town that rewards retirees with lower-than-average tax burdens.  You can find out more about Kalispell as a low-tax town in the 2008 book titled "America's Best Low-Tax Retirement Towns".

In an article written by the local newspaper publication, the growth of the commercial district within Kalispell is mentioned, with Glacier Town Center and Hutton Ranch discussed. The exciting addition of new shopping areas and restaurants to the area has spurred residential growth. Silverbrook Estates is a unique master planned community, consisting of 325 acres.

The local newspaper states that Kalispell has a long lease on commercial vitality.  Glacier Town Center may offer a ground breaking event to the folks in the Flathead Valley, with the largest retail project ever proposed. Many residential projects are in the works, with Silverbrook Estates paving the way. Silverbrook Estates will itself offer over 18 acres of commercial development within its 330 acres, to include coffee shops, boutiques and more.
